Information
We also provide an emergency service to care for pets in case the owner is rushed into hospital.
Sitter Opportunities
To become a sitter you must love animals
– dogs or cats or both – and have the
time to devote to a pet. This is an
ideal way of enjoying the company of a
pet, without the long term commitment,
and you get paid!
You
can either board a dog in your own home,
or you might be interested in puppy
visiting, cat feeding, house sitting or
dog walking? In London we are also
looking for people who would board a
cat.
As a dog boarder you should have owned a dog before but ideally not have one when working for us; although a few of our dog sitters do have their own pet. You must have a home, ideally a securely fenced garden and time.
Clients are encouraged to meet their Sitter, so they know who is looking after their pets and can feel confident about their welfare and, in the case of boarding, will also be able to see exactly where they will be staying. Bev will also try to ensure that the same Sitter is allocated for any future bookings, as continuity is good for everyone concerned.
Along with Bev, who is hands on as far as client pet care is concerned, all her Sitters are animal lovers, who have had a variety of pets of their own & really enjoy looking after the animals that come in to their care. Recruited because of this love of, & experience with, pets they are all people who Bev would happily leave her own animals with. Receiving any additional training needed from Pals4Pets, they are police checked, insured, licensed where necessary, & have access to 24 hour back up in case of any emergencies.
The ultimate aim of Pals4Pets Bristol, Weston-Super-Mare & Surrounding Areas is to provide professional and loving care so that owners can have a worry-free time when away from their pets.
